Weekly Restaurant Highlight- Taco Chula

Every town and city has one. You know what I'm talking about. Your friends, family, colleagues, and clients tell you they know of a place that has the best tacos or best burritos or best guac in town. Now I can't speak for you, but in Palm Beach Gardens here in Northern Palm Beach county in Florida, I can, without a doubt, tell you where to get the best Mexican food. Taco Chula, located to the South East of the PGA Blvd and Military Trail intersection, serves up the best Mexican food our area has seen in recent times with truly authentic flavors while using the freshest ingredients. Although the interior is small, Taco Chula is big on real flavors. I can't stress the flavor part enough. I feel that too often taco joints, and Mexican restaurants in general, tone down the spices and flavors to allow the food to be more appealing to the masses. Although there is nothing wrong with that some of us are constantly left chasing more authentic, and sometimes spicy, flavors. If you feel the same way, then Taco Chula is your oasis in the desert. If you want a quick and filing bite, do not hesitate to order one of their tacos. Using fresh daily made corn tortillas, Taco Chula offers tacos with just about every filling imaginable from Pastor (spicy pork with pineapples) to Chorizo and everything in between. If you're looking for something to really fill you up, then turn to one of the burritos. If you're looking to go the extra mile, order a tamale. To me, the tamale here really sets the bar high. Your choice of either cheese and green pepper, chicken, or carnitas for the filling, the tamale is tender, yet moist and absolutely delicious. For dessert turn no farther than their mini-flan or my personal favorite the churro served with dulce de leche, and Nutella. If you're in the area and looking for some impressive, authentic Mexican cuisine in a comfortable atmosphere Taco Chula is the place for you.
